Our History
Heath Engineering Company
It all began in 1944 with a small farming implement manufacturer called Heath Engineering Company. Heath Engineering Company produced beet topping equipment for the local sugar beet farmers.
Over the years Heath engineers developed a complete line of shape cutting equipment from a single torch pantograph to multiple torch CNC controlled gantries that utilized oxyfuel, plasma and waterjet processes.
ESAB Purchases Heath Engineering Company
In 1978, ESAB purchased Heath Engineering Company and introduced ASEA robots (now ABB) for welding.
ABB Purchases Robotic Division
In 1993 ABB purchased the robotic welding division of ESAB.
Wolf Robotics Spun Off
Wolf Robotics was spun off in 2003.
Wolf Robotics became a leader in customer robotic systems for welding, cladding, grinding, polishing, and cutting.
Wolf Robotics Becomes Part of Lincoln Electric
In 2015, Wolf Robotics became part of Lincoln Electric.
